About Us

Who We Are

We are a not-for-profit organization that is focused on advocacies for adolescents.

At Listen, we discuss the challenges and insecurities of adolescents and then provide solutions and interventions. Some of these interventions are usually monetary, medical, psychological, spiritual, and/or educational. Our services are also extended to parents as we address the challenges of parenting adolescents and go further to support single parents who have no source of income to gain some financial standing to cater for their adolescents.

Our approach

Our Mission

To look at life through the eyes of an adolescent and be informed to guide. To the parent, you unlearn to learn.

Our Vision

Take the adolescent’s culture and tradition into consideration and still be able to reach out and inform them globally.

It is more fun being the youngest, making me the baby of the family, and no one dares take it away from me😂. God bless Mummy(Pastor Natalie Takyi-Appiah Appiah) for her patience, love and energy she so willingly gives us and for all the food and her prayers.
I love the family so much and I love the impact it has had on me. Listen has helped me to understand adolescence and all the confusions that come with it and how to deal with it as well as how to relate to parents as adolescents. “Listen has made me develop a very good relationship with my mum. I’m now able to relate more with her, and tell her things I couldn’t have told her back then because I felt she isn’t my age mate and it was quite awkward to confide in her. Not anymore; I feel more comfortable sharing my insecurities with my mum. I learnt all these through the teachings I got from Listen. Personally, I feel Listen is an avenue for adolescents to learn how to voice out their emotions to their parents and anyone. Also, they are taught how to associate with friends and how to live their lives to please God. I will urge every adolescent to tune in to Listen and they will be totally transformed.”

I recommend Listen a zillion times to anyone and everyone – especially to fellow adolescents who seek to maximize this stage of their lives, and to parents who aspire to understand their adolescent child, for effective parenting.”
Sai

I’m 20, I study Marketing and Psychology at the University of Ghana.

Well, LISTEN is more like a family than work, we go around the country educating adolescents like ourselves on the challenges we have faced and are still facing and what we will face in the future then how to face them and also recover if we are failing to face them. I’m always the guy behind the scenes of LISTEN, I’m the photographer, videographer, editor, I’m whatever you can think of behind the scenes 😂😂. Listen has taught me a lot, how to get investors to come into your business, how to be always truthful to yourself before society, and how to be a responsible adolescent I’m not saying this because I’m part of LISTEN, I’m saying this cause it’s the truth. I recommend LISTEN to every adolescent and parent cause we’ll soon move to the parent aspect on how adolescents think and understand them better. I think that’s it for me, PEACE OUT!!!✌🏽
